A good vet makes all the difference, doesn’t it? Ours isn’t cats only (I’m so jealous!) but they’re still pretty good. They know all of the crew by name, and really seem to spend that extra time just rubbing and helping them to relax. Makes me wish my doctor was as good.

I totally know what you mean about having the numbers memorized! I did the same thing with my card, and then the bank called to say that due to some iffy security boo-boo on their end, our numbers may or may not have been compromised. So they sent us new cards. And then just as my new card and I were beginning a beautiful new friendship, they sent us ANOTHER new card to switch out a few weeks later. I guess they wanted us to be doubly safe. I haven’t memorized this one yet.
