WWII in HD
Mr. Martini and I are catching up on WWII in HD on The History Channel. I’m blown away by the footage. I think what’s so fascinating is that the footage is all in color. Unless it’s a modern movie re-enactment (like Saving Private Ryan or similar) I don’t think I’ve ever seen color footage of World War II. All I can remember seeing is black and white, grainy news footage. This makes everything seem so much more real, somehow.
Like I said, fascinating.
