My NaBloPoMo Theme: Explore

Today we are having cable installed at the new house, which means that if all goes well, I’ll be able to publish this directly to the blog, and not have to retype it on my iTouch. Hurray!

The move is over, so I can focus on more important things. Like blogging, and NaBloPoMo.

When I was thinking about NaBloPoMo, I had planned on doing something consistently for the 30 days of November, and blogging it. Something that would involve self-improvement, like logging my exercise each day, or counting calories, or tracking my spending. Then I realized how that would only be interesting to me, and let’s face it, even I would grow bored with that after awhile.

Instead, I’m going to take the month of November and give it a theme. This month’s theme will be “Explore.” I love that this is so all-encompassing, and that it can mean explore the new apartment, explore Louisville, or even explore options regarding dinner plans. There are many, many things to explore in this world, in your own head or in your own backyard or in your own neighborhood.

While not every single post will revolve around this theme, I’m going to make a conscious effort to do more exploring this month. I’m excited to see where this takes me!

In the meantime, Miss Ruby has decided to venture forth from under the bed and explore our new apartment a little bit. She’s fitting right in with this month’s theme.
