October Memories

I used to try to get back to New Hampshire at least once a year, usually in October. October in New England is amazing. One year, it could be 65 degrees and sunny and the next year it could be 40 degrees and on the edge of snowing. You never knew what you were going to get when you visited.

Since we’re moving during October this year, and we had just moved to Louisville this time last year, it’s been a few years since I’ve been able to make it back to my home state. I was thinking about it today, and found these photos of October in New Hampshire in my Flickr stream. I’m feeling homesick, so I figured I’d share them. Enjoy!

NH Road, with Clouds and Trees
A country road in the lakes region. This is my desktop wallpaper every autumn.

More Tranquility
Lakeside in Autumn. This blue water amazes me.

NH Road, with Clouds
Another country road, with a storm brewing in the distance.

Oh, wow, I would love to visit tomorrow if I could. I miss it out there, sometimes.
